Wow, I’ve finally gotten around to posting this! Only a month and a day late… February is always a hectic month at school, and while I did finish writing the comic on February 1st, I really wanted to take it a step up from my messy pencil sketches in my notebook to some cleaner lines with ink. I don’t know if it is worth it in the end, but I think it looks a bit more polished.
For those of you who aren’t familiar with it, Hourly Comics Day is an annual event, taking place on February 1st each year, where people from all over document their day by drawing a comic for every hour they are awake. All sorts of people participate, not just artists and illustrators, so it’s really neat to see how everyone’s days are unique! This is the first year I’m participating. I had a lot of fun documenting my day, but it was really challenging to come up with something interesting to turn into a comic for every hour.
Anyways, read on! This was my day on February 1st, 2013! Hope you enjoy! 😀
